Front Porch Make-over

We had such a beautiful weekend here. All the neighbors were out, kids playing, lawns being mowed, car windows being broken by rocks thrown from lawn mowers...oh, you caught that part. Actually, it was just one window broken...ours. No worries, our kind neighbors, who simply wanted shorter grass were more than willing to take care of it. So, instead of worrying about a broken car window, my hubby and I decided to give our front porch a little make-over.

We bought two, gently used, wicker chairs from a neighbor for $30.....and a lot of high-gloss white spray paint and........

Here is how they turned out. I added a few covered pillows for a touch of color, some magazines, and a potted flower. Our sweet little 1945 house faces the East, and we have a  huge maple tree that was planted that same year right out front to shade us from the morning sun....so, this is the best place to be for early morning coffee..... I think I'll go sit on the front porch now, hope you all have a great day!
