Dear pregnant self,
Please remember that you have done this two times before and you lived. Also, a friendly reminder that you only have 8 weeks left and nothing lasts forever....you will be able to see your feet again, I promise.

Is that a pregnancy glow I see? Nah...just my Smashbox Bronzer applied just before leaving for a movie date with my hubby....
So...pregnant me and not pregnant me are two totally different people.....I am really ready to hold this little baby in my arms and look forward to having what resembles energy again...or at the very least, the desire to wear something different than my PJ's all day.
Maybe...my energy filled, real clothes wearing self will emerge soon...but until then I'm just keeping things simple....
Like this project for making cute...very simple....oven baked clay beads.....
Here's what you will need to get started: Sculpey oven-bake clay, sharp knife, tooth pick, and acrylic paint
Step 1: make 5 rolls of clay the same size, and 1 roll just a tiny bit smaller for a total of 6 Step 2: Place the 5 larger rolls around the smaller one until it looks like a flower Step 3: Using a sharp knife, slice the newly created flower roll into 1/4 inch thick flowers Step 4: reshape any beads that have become flat on their sides
Bake according to package instructions....let cool...then paint
Not perfect, but pretty cute I'd say. And...the best part was, I made these while wearing my PJ's :)
My no energy, PJ wearing self even managed to make a few of these for my little princess too....
Whew...I'm beat....think it's time for a nap.....

ReplyDeleteThat is so pretty :)
ReplyDeleteDid not know that you are pregnant... heartiest congratulations :)
You look adorable even if you don't think you do. Hang in there...get some rest because when you bring that baby home there won't be much of that!
ReplyDeleteYou are in the toughest part! Hang in there and soon you will have a beautiful baby in your arms and the pregnancy will be just a memory. :)
ReplyDeleteYou look SO good & are so close to being done! How exciting! You are going to do great!
ReplyDeleteYou look great! Seeing your feet is overrated anyways :)
ReplyDeleteYou're so cute pregnant! I was so gigantic when I was pregnant and didn't feel cute at all, but you're just cute! If you ever need to feel better about yourself, then just look at this: http://arlingtonmama.blogspot.com/2010/12/7-more-days-of-this-belly.html
ReplyDeleteHaha!
Awhhhh you are such a cute prego gal! I think I can say that because I have never been and because I always think prego gals are just beautiful.... do you think I will change my mind when I am the one not seeing my feet?! Should I be thankful that my job allows me to wear the closest thing to pjs all day---scrubs?! Anyways I bought some clay awhile back you might have just motivated me to get using it!

You're in my thoughts as you go from 2 to 3 children. It's not as hard as going from 1 to 2. Praying you can keep that glow (although I do love the Smashbox, too) and sweet attitude til you see your precious new baby.
ReplyDeleteI know how the pregnancy blahs are...no fun. That aside, you look great in this picture! The clay beads look like fun too.
