Maybe it's the break in the 100 degree weather....or maybe I just know that I am going to be very busy (very soon) with a new baby ....but I think it's time to start making some fun and thoughtful homemade gifts for Christmas.
I started my search on, you guessed it,
!! How great is it to have so many ideas stored in one easy place because, let's face it, I know I don't have the space in my brain right now to remember all of these wonderful ideas.
I am so in love with all of these handmade gifts from Talk Crafty To Me (don't you just love the name of this blog!?) And there is a link to everything you see in the pic...this should keep me busy for a while!
And how about these beautiful fabric painted bags .....there are tons of other fun ideas for homemade gifts for men and women on this site too...as in 365 of them!

And you know I loved this idea from Light Refreshments Served because I am, more than a little, addicted to Mod Podge. I love any reason to use it and these handmade coasters are too cute!

Better Homes and Gardens shares a really cute and easy handmade drink sleeve....I might use this idea for an empty coffee cup with small treats and a gift card inside :)

And, how about some pretty packaging for homemade treats....I love this idea. Made from a plastic wrap or aluminum foil box...decorated to perfection! (I couldn't find the source for this great idea, only the image)

Well....I think there's enough here to keep me busy for sure! I would love to hear any ideas you have for handmade gifts too!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

LOVE those! I don't have anything to add because all of the ones I've done are on there (hot cocoa jar, cookie mix, homemade vanilla). But those bags are gorgeous! Who doesn't love grocery sacks! I'm so gonna do those this year. I think I might do those for teacher gifts, too. I have one on Pinterest that's pretty cool, too, for bags. Oh I love this time of year! Thanks for getting me in the spirit! haha I hope you have a great day!
ReplyDeleteThanx for sharing! It will be here before we know it. I have done the s'mores bundle before and the teachers loved it!
ReplyDeleteI love all of these ideas, I am always looking for great christmas gift ideas and it is never to early to start. Already put in my first order of Christmas stuff.

Handmade gifts are the best kind! Love your collection!
ReplyDeletelove that monogrammed bag!
ReplyDeleteThose bags are really neat! One year I made placemats for my mother and mother in law. I cut out outlines of flowers and zigzagged them into the corner, used stiff interfacing and finished them off. They came out really well. Not sure what I"m doing this year.:) New follower from Creative Princess.:)
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited to do homemade gifts this year!
ReplyDeleteGreat post! I would love it if you would share this and/or any other projects you have been up to at Tuesday Talent Show at Chef In Training! Thanks so much and I hope to see you there!
