I shared this SUPER SIMPLE DIY over at ReFresh ReStyle last week, and in case you missed it...
here it is again ;)
here it is again ;)
Today, I wanted to share a simple idea for a thrift store find. These days I am so busy chasing my three kids around {ages 7, 5, and 9 months} so SIMPLE is about all I am able to do!
It starts with this little bird
{A thrift store find breaking the bank at 25 cents! }
He started his life as a salt and pepper shaker. Poor thing!
I used some of my kiddos air drying clay to patch up those little holes and then I got out my trusty can of spray pain in a shade of antique white
And....after a few good coats....
He has a new life!
I tend to move things around in my house like a crazy person...so he will get to see lots of new places, but I think I like him best here...
In my art studio where I can keep a good eye on him ;)
So...how about that for a simple makeover??
I knew I loved that little bird from the moment I first met him!

I have been scouring thrift stores for finds like this...just to paint white. No luck. I have't found jack.
